Measure C funds will be used to upgrade Shasta College’s aging facilities and also address needed safety, sustainability and educational program expansion.
Modernize
Modernizing 60-year old classrooms, two science buildings,
and career technical education facilities including upgrades at the heavy equipment and logging (forestry) education areas.

Improve
Improving accessibility through Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) upgrades and building technology enhancements to better support student success.


Replace
Replacing aging roofs, heating and cooling systems, plumbing, electrical systems,
and utilities.

Expand
Expanding public safety, Emergency Medical Services, and Certified Nursing Assistant simulation and training facilities.
Construct
Constructing a new career training extension site in Corning to better
serve Tehama County.

Build
Building a new agriculture classroom facility and upgrading support buildings at the Shasta College farm.

Sustainability
Expanding solar energy storage, implementing wastewater recapture and reuse, and adding more EV charging stations will reduce costs, conserve resources, and strengthen Shasta College’s long-term sustainability for generations
to come.
