Bond Measure C

Measure C is a $129 million local bond measure that will modernize aging facilities, improve career education programs, replace outdated infrastructure, and expand hands-on training opportunities for local residents.

It is designed to strengthen opportunities for students while supporting local employers who depend on a skilled workforce.

A History of Service

Shasta College has been helping students, families, and employers build

a stronger future in our community for over 75 years. Today, many of the College's classrooms, labs, and essential infrastructure are more than half a century old and no longer meet the needs of today's students or

tomorrow's workforce.

NO TAX RATE INCREASE

All of this can be accomplished with no tax rate increase to property owners with your YES vote on MEASURE C.  The Measure C bond is structured so that property owners are expected to continue paying the same Shasta College bond tax rate they pay today, while allowing the College to address critical facility improvements for students and the community.
